Pianist Weiyin Chen partners with her father, a world renowned surgeon Dr. Hung-Chi Chen in humanitarian missions combining the healing power of music and medicine, collaborating with the auspicious Mehta Music Foundation.

In their mission to Mumbai in March 2015, Ms. Chen coached local young artists and performed a charity recital. All proceeds went into ​her father's charity work with an international team of surgeons culminating 42 surgeries in 3 days helping the underprivileged and children in India.
